Turmeric Latte

As the winter nights draw closer bring in some warmth and sunshine with this Turmeric latte!
The spice turmeric contains a super powerful pigment called curcumin.
It’s one of the most powerful antioxidants found and it comes with strong anti-inflammatory action so really good for auto-immune disorders.
Researchers  has also found it has anti-carcinogenic action so may protect the body against cancer.
The only problem is it’s not easily absorbed by the body, so to boost absorption I blend it  in warm milk and also add some black pepper.

– 1 and 1/2 cup almond milk

– piece of fresh turmeric

– piece of fresh ginger

– stevia or maple syrup

– cinnamon

Clean Green Lean Smoothie

I could easily live on just this Clean Green Smoothie, It’s so fresh and smooth and packed full of goodness!
Because of the avocado It’s also very filling, so the perfect meal replacement if you don’t feel like eating to much.
And as with all my recipes it’s beyond quick to make, all you need is a half decent blender.

Clean Green Lean Smoothie
Serves 1
Ingredients:

– 1/2 avocado

– 1 cup coconut water

– piece of cucumber

– greens

– mint handful

– parsley handful

– 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice

– vanilla extract

– 5 ice cubes

Ingredients:

– 1/2 teaspoon Matcha tea

– handful of fresh mint leaves

– 1 lime zest and juice

– 1 – 1 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup

I completely forgot to post my absolute favorite green smoothie here on the blog, for you guys who also follow me on Youtube you’ve already seen this one.
This very very green, fresh tasting skinny smoothie is so full of goodness!
it’s my to go to smoothie when I need to rev up my health and up my intake of nutrients.
Kale, spinach, parsley and ceremonial matcha tea, mixed with delicious and nutritious pineapple and coconut water , they all do wonder for our health and also tastes so sweet.

Ingredients:

– 1/2 small pineapple

– handful of kale

– handful of spinach

– small handful of parsley

– 1/4 teaspoon matcha tea

– 1 cup coconut water

-1/2 tablespoon flax seeds
